At Eurocities 2022 Espoo we are offering speaking opportunities for Eurocities members in following formats.
If your city is interested in participating, please fill the application after reading the terms of selection process. There is only a limited amount of speaking opportunities in every slot.
The Eurocities 2022 team will use the following criteria when selecting speakers:
Panel discussion on Thursday 9 of June at 13.30-14.30: Public-private partnership
This panel will focus on discussing collaboration and co-creation between cities and companies. We are looking for mayors to share their city’s way of working with private sector and examples of truly impactful collaboration, that goes beyond traditional public procurement. What has made it possible and what lessons can you share?
Panel discussion on Friday 10 of June at 9-10.30: Climate Neutral Cities
This panel discussion will put into limelight the ambitious climate leaders from around the European continent. We are looking for mayors to share their way of working with their communities in achieving climate neutrality by 2030. What is the key in achieving climate neutrality in your city?
The call is open until Tuesday, 5 April 2022. We will announce selected speakers on mid-April.

The European Union is committed to climate neutrality by 2050 and the cities are essential allies in reaching this goal. The leadership of cities in finding new solutions to reduce GHG emissions and inspiring communities, companies, R&D actors to cooperate for the same goal is key to achieving the targets set in European Green Deal. Here is your space to show how cities are implementing climate neutral strategies.
The speednetworking sessions will take place on Friday, 10 June 2022 at 11.00 - 12.00. Submit your entry before Friday, 29 April 2022. The sessions will take place in English only.
Depending on the number of proposals, a selection process or alternative solutions may be organised.
